Hugo & Mary's Carousel

The Train -
20 minute ride, there is a Train Robbery Show half way through that last 10 minutes.

Flooded Mine -
A flat boat ride. It's lazer gun shooting in a mine.  You stay completely dry. It is dark. They can ride on your lap. Some are scared at first. But, usually ok on my lap, till they see it's not scary.

Wings of Wonder -
Butterflies, that go in a circle, they can make them go up or down by pushing a button.

Happy Frogs -
These bounce harder than they look. My toddlers are scared at first.

Up The Ladder -
Very small ride that just goes up & down to music.

Lucky's Dizzy Dogs -
Goes in circle, slightly goes up and down.

A "fun" house. Not scary or haunted.

Oaktrail School -
Sometimes there is drawing or folding activities inside.

Cave Tour -
Baby to toddler age, parents will have to carry the child down & up several dozen, flights of stairs.

Fun shows. Kids love the Saloon Show. Mine love all the circuses, acrobats, island dancers, especially Fire dancers, & animal shows. They also love the dance parties. My little sisters favorites are the clogging competitions.

There are lot of crafters to watch. My kids like the pottery makers & especially the candy making. The crafters are also usually nice & engage children well, & don't mind answering questions or bantering with children. Most the demos are in a large enough & loud enough area, children don't have to be perfectly still or quiet to watch the demonstrations.

Depending on height most 4 year olds & some 3 year olds can do all the above, some even without a adult. And most these below -

American Plunge
Elephant March
Fireman's Flyers (Tiny Swings)
Fire in the Hole
Grand Exposition Coaster - it's a tiny child coaster.
Lady Bugs
Magnificent Wave Carousel - Swings that go up and in a circle/spin.
Mighty Galeon
Racing Regatta
Royal Tea Party - Teacups

By 6, depending on height, most can do all the above with out a adult, a few still need adults. And these -

Thunderation
High-Low Silos
Mystic River Falls

By 8, depending on height most can do all the above and -

Outlaw Run
Powder Keg
Giant Barn Swing

Firewall

Most by 10 or 11, can do all the above except Mystic River Falls alone. Plus -

Busy Days!

Here's my advice - go early! The turnstiles open at 8:30 every day, no matter when opening is scheduled.  Be in the Parking lot by 8:15....
